I was wondering if a raise is just an opening bet that is larger than the minimum? So if I opened the betting at $1 on a .10 table on the flop would that be considered a raise or just an opening bet? So if opponent raised me then would that just be a raise or a reraise?

Preflop - the bigblind is the initial "Bet".
- Anyone that limps in would be doing a PF-CALL. In your example, calling for .10 would be a PF-CALL.
- The first player to "raise" the bet amount above the bigblind would be doing a PF-RAISE. Any type of raise preflop is a PF-RAISE. Your example of opening for $1 on a .10 table would be a PF-RAISE.
- Anyone after the pf-raiser that calls the pf-raise (not the blinds) would be doing a PF-COLDCALL. PF-COLDCALL refers to someone calling a PF-RAISE that did not have any money in the pot previously.
- If a limper or the SB or BB call the PF-RAISE, then they are doing a PF-CALL. A PF-CALL is anyone the calls anything preflop. a PF-COLDCALL is also a PF-CALL, but PF-COLDCALL is more specialized in that there must have already been a PF-RAISE and this player didn't have any money already in the pot..
- Anyone that raises preflop after there has already been a PF-RAISE is doing a PF-RERAISE. A PF-RERAISE is a form of PF-RAISE but requires that there must have already been at least one PF-RAISE. In your example if an opponent raises you after you open with $1 on a .10 table... then he is doing a PF-RERAISE.
- Of course a PF-ALLIN would also be considered a PF-RAISE if it was the opening raise. And it would be considered a PF-RERAISE if there were already a PF-RAISE.
Postflop - the initial money put into the pot is the "Bet" (FL-BET), no matter how large or small the bet is. Any raise above that amount is a FL-RAISE. And a 2nd raise (3Bet) would be a FL-RERAISE.
There are also many specialty stats like "(PF-RAISE)FL-BET". this references how often someone Bets out first on the flop after they themselves were the initial RAISER preflop. This is often referred to as a "Continuation Bet" or CBet.
- All stats named like this "(PART-1)PART-2"... means how often they perform PART-2 but only after PART-1. Meaning if you only look at the times a PART-1 happened (this player did a PF-RAISE)... how often does a PART-2 happen after that (this player does a FL-BET).
The TURN and RIVER follow the same logic as the FLOP.
The key is to remember that preflop the bigblind is the "Bet". But there is no blind postflop so the first money thrown into the pot is the "Bet".
