I did my 5 day trial over the last week, and really loved the software. I went ahead and bought the Gold with lobby edge, and I won a 18 man SNG for a supersatellite for a $50+5 satellite to the Sunday Brawl. I finished 11th in that and won my seat for the $240+16 Sunday Brawl knockout tournament with bounties on Full Tilt.
I played quite well, and used PE to monitor my opponents and ended up getting 5 knockouts at $40 each and finishing in 117th for an additional $410.40
I spend $140 on PE, and within 48 hours I had a $610 cash!
Thanks for everything!

greetings all,
i am a new user and wanted to say hi to all.
strokes for the developers as this is a nice piece of software and the database works well. although i have only used this a few times it is a nice advantage to know what the people i am playing against have done in the past.

No Skoal, I actually like this post. Just don't know where to begin. Lets start off with your first comment. Poker office captures statistics on players that you have played against only. PE uses a centralized database, so I get stats on a player that Skoal has played against and any other member has played against.
Tell you what, Lets have a challange. My name is paulb123 at FT. Why don't you bring up Poker Office and tell me my strengths and weaknesses. Then post your screen name here and let me tell you yours.
There are only 2 sites that actively ban PE from use. That is Stars and Party. PE has safety features in place though so if you use PE properly, they can't even tell that you use it. Several people have been caught using PE though and the punishment is to put your account on hold for a day or so while things get worked out. To the best of my knowlege, no one has ever lost a penny due to using PE on their site. _____________________________________________________________________________________

I have a PE moment too, I play 50c ring games at the mo still building my roll. I raise to 2 bucks in mid position with KK guy in cut off calls and so does the button. BB re-raises to 8 bucks his preflop raise is just over 1% with nearly 1000 hands seen. so figure him for aces or kings and as I have kings also more than likey aces. I fold, cutoff who only has 12 bucks total decideds to go for it with his jacks button folds and sure enough BB has the bullets. BB had me covered and I had about 70 bucks so at this point I would be saying things like PE paid for itself on that one hand.........if not for the king on the flop. still it was the right play, love this software.

Thanks for the info, I just re-subscribed, and when I get my next paycheck I think i'll get lobby edge.
I hope it works better this time, I look forward on being back in the PE community
I'm exclusively at FTP every since UB changed their RB/points system.
So i'm really looking forward to giving LE a shot.
As for multi tabling, my 8 tabling UB days are over, I 4-6 table on FTP now, never more than that.
4 is fine for me, for the time being, hopefully, PE can support more when i'm playing more. But for now this all sounds very promising, will be trying out later tonight.

In regards to raceback table viewing, i used that (untill a day ago).
I would 100% recomend the classic view without avatars with the plain or midnight view. It is very soothing and relaxing and of corse poker edge is lined up nicely so it saves me time.
Give it a try and see if you understand what I mean.

Nice to see y'all having such fun with this....................
I do appreciate the detailed, and highly, informative answers and suggestions.
I did figure out where the reset to default size table button was also.
I'm trying to decide whether to try PE for a month to REALLY get the feel for it or just to bite the bullet and go for the year in advance, but I am definitely up for using PE.

You're welcome............
In the short time since I decided to try PE I've come to like the product itself, this forum and the people who gather here.
There are several other forums and educational sites that I participate in including PokerXFactor (which IMHO is THE premier poker educational site) but none of them has provided the direct, and unrestrained, criticism I need to improve my game like this one has. I realize that it's incumbent on me to implement changes but being pointed in a CORRECT direction, as in: Do this and this and this then check back, with your RESULTS, when you've tried it for a while and we'll see what to do next, is more meaningful then watching a video of what worked for someone else or taking a quiz to compare what I'd do vs. what the "pro" did.
Thanks. I need to do a lot more......................... I wanna get beyond the "Welllllllllllllll, you suck." level.

sprezz, I too thank you for sharing.
I do not post here real often but I try to come by almost every day. Your list looks mighty familiar. I am finding many of the same issues with my game especially in the past 2 months they just seem to creep in when I'm busy looking the other way.
I have been reading all the feed back on your stats to compare with mine. I found that the advice given to you applied to a lot of my game. unfortunately I waited to long to get help and will now have to wait till this weekend to reload. This may be a good thing as now I have time to examine where I have been going and what I need to do to fix the gravel pit sized holes I seem to have developed in the last couple of months..
I find that I have blamed too many things on suck outs and luck (bad)
But when I get down to looking closely at hand histories what I see is a lot of donkey play on my part i.e. to small preflop raise, and giving villans pot odds to call me to the river etc. etc.
btw I have to agree with you about this being the most beneficial forum I go to.
Many thanks to all
